Switchgear.
Upgraded.
Service entrance upgrades to 4000A, switchgear maintenance, breaker replacement, and arc-flash labeling. Coordinated outages with JEA, FPL, and Clay Electric.
Six switchgear
service lines.
Service Entrance Upgrades
200A through 4000A service entrance upgrades. We handle the utility coordination with JEA, FPL, and Clay Electric — including the outage window request and re-energization sequencing.
Switchgear Maintenance
Cleaning, lubrication, torque audit, insulation-resistance testing, and functional testing on low- and medium-voltage switchgear. NETA MTS-aligned procedures.
Breaker Replacement
Molded-case circuit breakers, insulated-case breakers, and power circuit breakers. We source direct from the manufacturer — no aftermarket parts on critical equipment.
Arc-Flash Labeling
IEEE 1584 arc-flash hazard analysis and NFPA 70E labeling on all switchgear and distribution equipment. We deliver the study and hang the labels.
Emergency Switchgear Repair
Failed breakers, damaged buses, blown insulators — we dispatch the same day for contract accounts. Equipment sourced from our stocking distributor network.
Panelboard Replacement
Full panelboard replacement — main lug and main breaker equipment, branch circuit reconfiguration, and new directory labeling. Inspected and closed before we leave.
JEA, FPL, and Clay Electric.
We know the process.
Utility-coordinated outages take 6–10 weeks to schedule. We submit the applications, follow up on the window, and sequence the temp-service, transition, and re-energization so your tenants see one overnight outage.
- 01Outage application
We submit to JEA or FPL 6–10 weeks out and follow up on the window. You stay on schedule.
- 02Temp service (if required)
For occupied buildings, we coordinate temp service before the main outage so tenants aren't down during the sequencing window.
- 03Overnight switchover
New gear landed and tested. Re-energization happens overnight — we're out before the building opens.
- 04Commissioning and re-energization
Circuit-by-circuit load transfer, voltage and phase-rotation verification, and arc-flash labeling before the final inspection.
Full scope.
No surprises.
- Utility outage application and coordination
- Temp-service design and install (if required)
- New switchgear procurement and delivery
- Demo of existing gear, bus, and conductors
- New service entrance conductors and terminations
- Ground electrode system and bonding
- Arc-flash hazard analysis and labeling
- Final inspection and CO paperwork
- As-built drawings and commissioning report
