Dead zones where the access points were added later
Coverage gaps usually trace back to where cable could be pulled at the time, not to where the AP belonged. Fixing it is a pathway problem.
A new suite with no IDF to serve it
Runs past 100 meters need a closet, not a longer cable. Deciding that during rough-in costs a fraction of deciding it after the walls close.
Cameras and card readers nobody can service
Unlabeled cable at both ends turns a ten-minute repair into an afternoon of tracing. Re-labeling and documenting is a scheduled visit, not an emergency.
Cable that won't pass certification
Failed Cat6A links are usually termination or bend-radius damage. We test to the standard and show you the report either way.
Racks and headend moving during a build-out
Relocating live network gear needs a cutover plan and an after-hours window, both of which we run alongside the power work.
Four steps, in this order.
Walk the pathways first
Where cable can physically go decides the design: existing tray, core drills, plenum limits, and how far the runs actually are.
Pull with the power crew
Low-voltage goes in on the same rough-in as the branch circuits, separated to code. One contractor, one schedule, no hand-off gap.
Terminate and certify
Jacks, patch panels, and fiber terminated to BICSI practice, then every link tested with a certifier and the results saved per port.
Label, rack, document
Both ends labeled to a scheme you can read in five years, rack elevations and as-builts handed over with the test report.
